Sorry I suck balls as a blogger

I have been really neglecting the blog a lot lately, sorry. I have a lot going on these days, all of it shit. I know I still wasn't much of a blogger when I had practically nothing going on, but I at least made some effort. Back over the summer I was looking through some of my blog archives, and I read all the compliments people gave on my Angry Stick-figure Man, and I realized I really missed that. I guess I never got a whole lot of positive feedback from people during the course of my life, at least none that really mattered to me, and it really sort of amazed me that I could draw up these dumb little comics, and people would actually get a huge kick out of them. I actually started dreaming up more ambitious humor projects, most of which I've gotten almost nowhere with (though I have been saving notes of my best ideas, to ensure they don't go to waste). Now I have this huge desire to do something like that, but I'm just too lazy, or these days burned out, most of the time to ever put my ideas into action.

Anyway, for those of you out there who did enjoy my humor, I probably won't be back with something new of my own anytime soon. In the mean time, however, for those of you enjoy the testicle jokes, I highly recommend reading any and everything at PointlessWasteOfTime.com. The site's main author, David Wong, is everything I aspire to be as a humor writer. He is by far the most subversive-minded comedian I have ever encountered, and his website is loaded with countless jokes that I guarantee you no other individual on the planet could ever have dreamed up. He also recently got a novel published, which you can read for free online (though he's in the process of updating the online version to match the paperback, and consequently is putting it up in installments to encourage impatient people to buy the paperback), and while it's dryer humor than most of his site (it's a horror-comedy), it's still the most enjoyable book that I have read. Granted, I'm biased, because in many ways the narrator bares so much resemblance to myself and my thinking that it's almost creepy, but to me that is a good sign that if you like me and my creative efforts at all, you'd love David Wong. Wong did recently get a job as an editor for Cracked magazine's website, so hopefully having his life not suck won't dull his comedic edge any, but even so there's still plenty of comedy gold in his archives.

In the mean time, don't forget about me just because I'm not blogging with any regularity. I like hearing from you guys, and you can usually count on finding me over at the Kallini forums. I might try to post more softcore internet pornography, just to keep the blog alive.

Chomsky Boilerplate will be the name of my band

Have you seen the transcript (WARNING: PDF file!)of the new Bin Laden tape? It's really bizarre. He singles out Noam Chomsky for praise, calling him one of the best of Americans, and repeatedly cites far-left, McRadical conspiracy chic, which accounts for most of his rant, then he ends it by talking about how much he loves Jesus, and how Americans who truly want to follow Jesus should convert to Islam. It's a short read, so I recommend checking it out. It's pretty amusing.
